Mike Sullivan

Mike Sullivan is a versatile American racing driver with a career spanning several decades and multiple racing disciplines. He is perhaps best known for his exploits in Fuel Altered racing, particularly with his iconic Fiat AA/Fuel Altered. Sullivan's passion for racing ignited early, leading him to build his first Fiat altered in his garage in the late 1960s, which already showed a design ahead of its time. In the early years, he gained valuable experience driving the Highland Speed Shop Jr fueler.

Sullivan's career highlights include setting several AA/FA track records and winning the last AA/FA class at Indy before NHRA removed the class. After a break from the sport, he returned with an innovative V12 Top Fuel dragster, utilizing Buick V6 engines to meet NHRA's cubic inch limit. More recently, Sullivan has also been involved in stock car racing and even achieved a podium finish at the 2011 Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race during the Long Beach Grand Prix weekend. He continues to race with his AA/Fuel Altered Fiat, with his son Jeremy, striving to keep the spirit of fuel altered racing alive.
