Melinda Price

Melinda Price is a well-known Australian racing driver with a diverse career spanning several decades. Born on November 23, 1970, Price comes from a motorsport-rich background and began karting at the age of nine. She progressed through various racing categories in Australia and gained significant recognition in saloon car racing. A highlight of her early career was racing in the Castrol Cougars team with Kerryn Brewer, supported by Larry Perkins in the late 1990s.

Price has competed in five Bathurst 1000 races. In 1997, Price and Brewer achieved 12th place overall. Price also has international experience, having participated in the Nurburgring 24 Hours race three times. After taking a break from motorsport to focus on family and overcoming a breast cancer diagnosis in 2011, Price returned to racing. In recent years, she has participated in series such as the Radical Australia Cup.

Beyond racing, Price is involved in initiatives to encourage women in motorsport, including working with Girls on Track for Motorsport Australia. She has also explored other avenues within the motorsport world, including joining the Auto Action RevLimiter podcast as an analyst. Also is a qualified naturopath, with a desire to support oncology patients. Price’s career reflects her skill on the track and her dedication to the broader motorsport community.
