Jose Pedro Fontes

José Pedro Fontes is a Portuguese rally driver with a career spanning several decades and various motorsport disciplines. Born on December 28, 1975, Fontes has competed in events ranging from the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) to national championships and GT racing.

Fontes's achievements include winning the Portuguese Touring Car Championship in 2009 and the Portuguese Sport Prototypes Championship in 2014. He also secured several high-ranking finishes in other series, such as the Campeonato de Portugal de GT, where he finished 3rd in 2013. In addition to his own racing endeavors, Fontes is connected to other figures in the motorsport world. He runs the Sports & You team and has worked alongside prominent figures such as football manager André Villas-Boas, both as a team boss and a friend.

Fontes began his rally career in the late 1990s and has since participated in numerous WRC events, with his first being the Rally de Portugal in 1998. He achieved his best WRC2 result at the 2019 Rally de Portugal.
