Duarte Costa

Duarte Costa, born on May 31, 1985, in Cascais, Portugal, is a versatile racing driver with a career spanning various motorsport disciplines. He began his journey in karting in 1995 before transitioning to Formula BMW UK in 2004, where he competed for two years. His career progressed into Formula Renault and then the SEAT León Supercopa. Duarte's talents aren't limited to just driving; he's also a proficient driving coach, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of racers.

Costa's racing achievements include finishing as the Portuguese Touring Car Vice Champion in 2009, with three victories to his name. In 2010, he secured 6th position in the SEAT León Eurocup, earning a win. He has also ventured into sports car racing, participating in the International GT Open. In 2015, Duarte co-founded Synergy Driver Performance, focusing on elevating young drivers in junior formula and sports car racing categories. More recently, in 2018, he returned to the International GT Open, showcasing his enduring passion for the sport.

Currently, Duarte continues to participate in the International GT Open. Beyond his on-track endeavors, Duarte manages his half-brother, António Félix da Costa, a successful Formula E driver and champion.
