Sota OGAWA

Sota Ogawa is a Japanese racing driver born on October 1, 1999. Ogawa's career began in 2017 in the F4 Japanese Championship with TOM'S Spirit. He secured 9th place in the standings in 2018, racing alongside Kazuto Kotaka. In 2020, driving for Skill Speed, he achieved a pole position and four podium finishes. Progressing to the Formula Regional Japanese Championship in 2021 with Team Sutekina, Ogawa quickly made an impact with a win at Suzuka. The following year, he joined Bionic Jack Racing, finishing as runner-up in the championship, just behind Miki Koyama, with three victories.

In 2023, Ogawa remained with Bionic Jack Racing and clinched the Formula Regional Japanese Championship title, surpassing New Zealander Liam Sceats. He also gained experience in Super Formula Lights with Rn-sports. In 2024, Ogawa participated in the Macau Grand Prix with TGM Grand Prix, partnering with Rintaro Sato.

More recently, Ogawa has transitioned into a simulator driver role for Super Formula team TGM Grand Prix. He also participates in Japanese GT championships. Furthermore, he has ventured into trail running, competing in events such as the Asia Trail Master Championship, demonstrating his versatility as an athlete.
