Robert Shvartzman

Robert Shwartzman is an Israeli racing driver, born on September 16, 1999, who is currently competing in the IndyCar Series with PREMA Racing. He has a diverse background, having grown up in Italy and also maintaining a connection to St. Petersburg, Russia. Shwartzman's early career saw success in karting before transitioning to single-seaters in 2014. He achieved a third-place finish in the Italian Formula 4 championship and fourth in the German series in 2015.

Shwartzman is a graduate of the Ferrari Driver Academy and has an impressive list of accomplishments, including the 2018 Toyota Racing Series title and the 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship. He also competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for two seasons, finishing 4th in 2020 and an impressive 2nd in 2021. From 2021 to 2024, Shwartzman served as a test and reserve driver for Ferrari in Formula One and for Sauber, gaining valuable experience at the highest levels of motorsport. He has also participated in free practice sessions for both Ferrari and Sauber. After the FIA ban on drivers competing under the Russian flag, Shwartzman has raced under the Israeli flag.

In addition to his single-seater experience, Shwartzman has also participated in the FIA World Endurance Championship. His career continues to evolve with his recent debut in the IndyCar Series, marking a new chapter in his racing journey.
