Nelson Calle

Nelson Calle is a Colombian racing driver with a passion for motorsports that began in his childhood. As CEO of Classic Motors and The FJ Company, Calle specializes in the restoration and sales of classic Toyota FJ Land Cruisers and is a lifelong automobile enthusiast. He has been racing for 15 years in karts and open-wheel race cars.

Calle's racing experience includes participation in endurance and exhibition races. In 2009, he secured a 3rd place finish in the 6 Hours of Bogota in the Fuerza Libre 3 category, driving a Subaru WRX. More recently, he has competed in the Pirelli GT4 America series. In 2022, he finished 4th in the Am class with RS1, driving a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. The following year, in 2023, he raced with Nolasport in the same series, finishing 9th in the Am class.

Beyond his driving endeavors, Calle is deeply involved in the automotive world, overseeing the final testing and inspection of each restored vehicle at Classic Motors. He also has a passion for Porsche, racing them on the track and enjoying them on the road. In 2018, Calle and the Classic Motors team purchased a 1967 Porsche 911 IMSA GTU race car, with Calle himself getting behind the wheel to race it.
