Giacomo Ricci, born on March 30, 1985, is an Italian racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing series. Ricci began his journey in motorsports in 2001, participating in the German-based Formula BMW ADAC series. He then progressed to Formula Renault, competing in Italian, German, and European championships.
From 2004 to 2007, Ricci showcased his talent in the Formula 3000 series, later known as Euroseries 3000, and Italian Formula 3000. His breakthrough came in 2006 when he clinched the Euroseries 3000 championship, driving for Fisichella Motorsport, securing five wins and numerous podium finishes. In 2007, he ventured into North American racing, participating in Champ Car Atlantic.
Ricci's career also includes stints in GP2 Series, GP2 Asia Series, International GT Open, and Auto GP. Throughout his career, he has achieved 13 wins and 50 podiums out of 190 starts. Although he is not currently active in racing, his past achievements reflect a dedicated and versatile career in motorsports.
