Georg Braun is a German racing driver with a career spanning several decades. Born in Hechingen, he began his motorsport journey in 1949, quickly making a name for himself by winning a motorcycle race in Onstmettingen. His early successes propelled him to compete in races across Germany and even in world championships. Braun's racing career was temporarily halted by an accident, but he recovered and continued to participate in races until the mid-1950s when he decided to retire.
In more recent years, Georg Braun has been a GT4 Germany competitor. In 2019, he raced for MRS Besagroup Racing Team in a BMW. The following year, he was with Team Lillestoff, also in a BMW. 2021 saw him driving a Porsche for Team Buchbinder Rent-a-Car. His GT4 Germany statistics include a best race result of 3rd place.
