Aurelijus Rusteika

Aurelijus Rusteika is a Lithuanian racing driver, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with nearly 20 years of racing experience. Born on November 22, 1964, in Vilnius, Lithuania, Rusteika has become a familiar face in motorsport, particularly in races like the 1000 km event in Lithuania. While well-known in Lithuania, he gained international recognition through his participation in the GT2 European Series.

Rusteika's journey in the GT2 European Series began in 2021, driving a Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport for Speed Factory Racing alongside Michael Vergers. Despite being a newcomer at the European level, he quickly proved his racing talent, securing multiple podium finishes. In 2022, he switched to an Audi R8 LMS GT2 with High Class Racing, continuing his partnership with Vergers and achieving further podiums and race-winning results. In 2023, Rusteika joined Ebimotors, driving a Porsche GT2 RS CS in the Am category with teammate Mantas Janavicius. This all-Lithuanian lineup has seen impressive results, including a podium finish at Monza.

Rusteika's career highlights include outright wins and numerous podiums in both Pro-Am and Am classes of the GT2 European Series. His achievements have been captured in the documentary series "Rusteika pushing like hell - GT2 European series," which follows his journey on famous European tracks. He aims to compete in the Lithuanian Le Mans - 1000 km competition, while seeing victories in the GT2 Series as a bonus and motivation.
