Yusuke Mitsui

Yusuke Mitsui, born on April 22, 2002, is a rising star in Japanese motorsports. A product of the Honda Formula Dream Project (HFDP), Mitsui made his single-seater debut in 2022 in the F4 Japanese Championship. He immediately impressed, winning the opening race and securing two more victories, along with eight additional podium finishes, ultimately finishing as the championship runner-up to his teammate Syun Koide. He continued in F4 in 2023, finishing third in the standings.

In 2024, Mitsui expanded his racing endeavors, taking on the role of third driver for Team UpGarage in Super GT, although he didn't participate in any races that season. He also debuted in Super Taikyu with Honda's M&K Racing in 2023 and raced for Team Spoon in the ST-2 class and made one race appearance with Honda's HRC Team in ST-Q in 2024. For 2025, Mitsui has joined Delightworks Racing to compete in the Super Formula Lights series. In his debut race in Super Formula Lights at Suzuka in March 2025, he qualified ninth and finished fifth.

Mitsui's early success in F4 has marked him as a promising talent. His career demonstrates a steady progression through different racing categories, showcasing his adaptability and ambition to compete at higher levels. His participation in Super GT and Super Formula Lights suggests a focus on both domestic and potentially international racing opportunities, making him a driver to watch in the coming years.
