Tim Barber is an American racing driver with a diverse background in motorsports. In March 2024, Barber achieved a significant victory in the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli Western Championship's season opener at Thunderhill Raceway Park, marking his return to the series after nearly two decades. Driving the No. 33 DIG Motorsports Ford Mustang in the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series, Barber not only secured the pole position but also led every lap of the race, demonstrating his skill and experience.
Beyond his achievements as a driver, Barber is also known for his expertise in race car engineering and driver development. As the director of competition services and chief engineer for Winding Road Team TFB, he focuses on enhancing driver performance through data analysis, physics, and a deep understanding of the driver's perspective. Tim opened TFB Performance in 2009 and his experience includes USAC Silver Crown sprint cars, road racing, and stock car racing. TFB Performance also provides comprehensive services, including car building, preparation, and trackside support.
