Sacha Maguet is a French racing driver who has shown promise in karting. Born on February 16, 2005, Maguet began karting at the age of nine, a bit later than many of his competitors. He quickly progressed through the ranks, starting with leisure karting in 2014 and entering his first Minikart race the following year. By 2016, he experienced a turning point that motivated him to persevere in the sport. In 2017, Maguet secured his first national podium, finishing second at the Coupe de France FFSA in Septfontaine, a race that attracted 74 participants.
In 2018, Maguet was selected to participate in the French Junior Championship within the FFSA Academy while simultaneously competing in the Nationale category. 2019 proved to be a successful year for Maguet, as he secured five victories in his first five races in the National category. He also won the Ligue Centre Val de Loire championship. Maguet's early success led him to join the PB Kart team, known for its effective development of young drivers. He achieved pole position, a win in the pre-final, and a win in the final at the Stars of Karting event in Salbris. In 2019, Sacha finished second at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Italy in the Junior MAX class.
More recently, Maguet was selected as one of 12 drivers to participate in the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy in 2021, where young drivers are evaluated for their potential in single-seater racing. He has also competed in events such as the Superkarts! USA Winter Series, demonstrating his speed in the X30 Junior class. He was named "Driver of the Day" at the IAME Euro Series in 2020.
