Romain Dumas, born on December 14, 1977, is a French racing driver with a versatile career spanning various disciplines, most notably endurance racing. A seasoned veteran, Dumas has etched his name in motorsport history with victories in some of the world's most prestigious races. He began his racing journey in karting before transitioning to single-seaters, including French Formula Renault and Formula 3. While he tested Formula 3000 and even a Renault F1 car, his true calling lay in endurance racing.
Dumas has been a Porsche factory driver since 2004 and has also been associated with Audi, Volkswagen, and Ford Performance. His impressive resume includes wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2010, 2016), 24 Hours of Spa, Nürburgring 24 Hours, and 12 Hours of Sebring. In 2024, he won his fifth overall Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, driving a Ford F-150 Lightning SuperTruck in the Pikes Peak Open class.
