Rick Bouthoorn, born on September 24, 2004, is a rising talent in Dutch motorsport. Hailing from Almere, Netherlands, Bouthoorn's passion for racing ignited early, fueled by his parents' enthusiasm for cars and motorcycles. He began karting in 2013 and quickly progressed, securing his first victory in the Honda Cadet Series in 2014. His karting career saw him achieve numerous podium finishes and the "Driver of the Day" award from RTL GP Magazine. By 2018, he was competing in the Rotax Max Senior class, often against older and more experienced drivers.
Bouthoorn transitioned to open-wheel racing, participating in the Road to Indy in the United States. In 2021, he ventured into GT racing, joining Razoon – More than Racing. In 2022, he raced in the GTC Race series with a KTM X-Bow GT4, winning the Junior Championship. In 2024, Bouthoorn stepped up to the GT4 European Series, driving a BMW M4 GT4 for Razoon – More than Racing in the Pro-Am category with teammate Önder Erdem. He has expressed his appreciation for competing against strong drivers and teams in this series. Bouthoorn's racing idol is Marc Márquez.
