Richard "Spike" Goddard, born on August 17, 1992, is an Australian racing driver with experience in various racing series. Goddard began his racing journey in karting at the age of fourteen in his native Australia. Transitioning to single-seaters in 2009, he entered the Australian Formula Ford NSW Series and further competed in the Formula Ford Victoria series, securing third place in the championship in 2010.
In 2011, Goddard moved to the United Kingdom to compete in the British Formula Ford Championship with Jamun Racing. He achieved nineteen point-scoring finishes in 24 races, ultimately finishing tenth in the championship. Progressing to Formula Three, Goddard joined ThreeBond with T-Sport in the Rookie Class of the British Formula 3 Championship in 2012, where he clinched the championship title. He continued his collaboration with ThreeBond with T-Sport into the FIA European Formula Three Championship.
Beyond Formula racing, Goddard's career includes participation in the Porsche Supercup and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East, where he raced with FFF Racing Team by ACM. Throughout his career, Goddard has demonstrated his versatility across different racing disciplines, showcasing his skills in both open-wheel and GT racing categories.
