Richard Distl is a German racing driver who began his racing career relatively late, in 2019, in the Pure McLaren GT Series. Distl consistently finished in the top six in the Cup class, specifically designed for GT4 machinery, in every race he entered. After taking a year away from racing, he returned in 2021, participating in selected events within the more powerful 570S Trophy division, achieving a best finish of fourth place at Portimao while co-driving with Alain Valente. He also made a one-off appearance in the European GT4 series at Paul Ricard.
