Pierre-André Nicolas is a French racing driver who made a name for himself in the Caterham Roadsport France series, securing the championship title in 2017. At 21 years old, Nicolas found his passion for motorsport through his family, receiving a Caterham Academy meeting as an 18th birthday gift from his parents. He quickly adapted to the unique characteristics of the Caterham, a car he describes as a blend between a single-seater and a grand tourer, praising its engaging power-to-weight ratio and safety features.
In 2018, Nicolas partnered with Erwan Bastard in the FOXO team, competing in the Porsche Club Motorsport France championship. Driving a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4, the duo achieved four podium finishes, ultimately finishing second in the standings. Beyond racing, Nicolas expressed a desire to share his passion for motorsport by becoming a driving instructor, imparting the knowledge and experience he gained throughout his career.
Nicolas emphasizes the importance of physical and mental preparation in racing. His training regime includes endurance exercises like cycling and running, along with theoretical and practical circuit training guided by coaches.
