Owen John Kelly, born on March 12, 1977, is an accomplished Australian professional racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing disciplines. Known for his adaptability and skill behind the wheel, Kelly has made his mark in both Australian and American motorsports.
Kelly's journey began in Australian Formula Ford, before progressing to V8 Supercars in 2000. While a full-time Supercars opportunity eluded him, he became a sought-after endurance driver, showcasing his reliability and speed in the Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000. Alongside his Supercars commitments, Kelly also achieved race wins in the Dunlop Super2 Series. Driven by a childhood dream, Kelly ventured into NASCAR in the United States. His NASCAR debut came in 2010 in the Nationwide Series (now Xfinity Series), where he impressed with a fifth-place finish at Road America.
