Michai Stephens is a rising star in the world of American motorsports. Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Stephens' journey into racing is unique, as he had no prior racing experience or family connections to the sport. A simple Google search sparked his interest, leading him to pursue his dream with unwavering dedication.
Stephens' career gained momentum after winning a Skip Barber Racing School scholarship, which propelled him into the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship with RJB Motorsports in 2016. He also earned Team USA Scholarship awards in 2014 and 2015. In 2021, he joined JMF Motorsports' GT4 program, showcasing his talent in the SRO Pirelli GT4 SprintX Series, achieving multiple victories and podium finishes. In 2022, driving for JMF Motorsport / Conquest Racing he had two victories and twelve podium finishes alongside Co-Driver Gavin Sanders.
Beyond driving, Stephens is actively involved in the motorsports community. He works full-time at Team Stradale at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois, where he serves as a Race Instructor, Assistant Manager, Event Coordinator, and Event Lead. He has also worked as a Lucas Oil Racing School Instructor and a Bosch Engineering Driving Trainer for Skip Barber Racing School. Stephens' passion and commitment extend beyond the track, as he aims to inspire others to pursue their dreams in motorsports.
