Matt Million is a 24-year-old professional racing driver hailing from San Marcos, California. His racing journey began at the young age of five, and he has since accumulated 20 consecutive years of experience in motorsports, progressing from karts to cars. Despite facing financial challenges and lacking family connections within the sport, Matt has persevered through dedication, talent, and persistence. He aspires to become the best motorsport professional he can be and is particularly focused on GT racing, constantly seeking opportunities to advance his career.
In 2024, Matt made his professional debut in the SRO GT4 America series with Auto Technic Racing, driving a BMW M4 GT4. He achieved a significant victory in the second race at Sonoma Raceway, marking a fairy-tale start to his rookie season. His impressive performance caught the eye of BMW M Motorsport, leading to his selection as one of four drivers for the BMW M Racing Academy's "Class of 2025," making him the only American in the program. Matt's racing season for 2025 will start at Sonoma Raceway, driving an Auto Technic Racing M4 GT4. He also plans to race with Palomar Racing.
Outside of racing, Matt graduated summa cum laude from California State University San Marcos with a degree in Global Business. He also works as a lead trackside coach at The Thermal Club, specializing in BMW M road and race cars. He has previous experience with Allen Berg Racing Schools and DG Spec. Matt's diverse skills and passion position him for a successful career both on and off the track.
