Marcelo Hahn, born on May 16, 1968, is a Brazilian racing driver with a career that officially began in 2005 in the Maserati Brazil Trophy. However, he truly made his mark in GT racing, becoming a prominent figure in both South American and international GT competitions. Hahn's early GT career saw him achieve runner-up positions in the Brazilian GT3 Championship in 2009 and 2010, foreshadowing his future success.
Hahn's career highlights include winning the South American GT Championship in 2013. He has also achieved significant success in the International GT Open series. Partnering with Allam Khodair, he secured the Pro-Am championship in 2020, adding to a strong record that includes finishing third in the Pro-Am category in 2018 and 2019. These achievements were earned racing with a Mercedes AMG, and a Mclaren 720S. In 2024, Hahn and Khodair returned to the GT Open, racing a Ferrari 296 GT3 with AF Corse, marking Hahn's return to the Ferrari marque after campaigning an F430 in 2008 in GT Brazil.
Beyond his racing achievements, Hahn has also supported the career of his son, Christian Hahn, in the Euroformula Open. With numerous successes in GT and mono-brand trophies, especially in South America, Marcelo Hahn continues to be a competitive force in GT racing.
