Mee has participated in the Cooper Tires Prototype Lites Powered by Mazda series, a prototype development series. Videos available on YouTube show Mee's involvement with Alta Velocita Racing, which includes his participation in the Cooper Tires Prototype Lites series and the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). The Cooper Tires Prototype Lites series served as a development platform for drivers aspiring to race in the American Le Mans Series. In 2014, it became part of the United SportsCar Racing series, following the merger of the American Le Mans Series and the Rolex Grand Prix series.
