Jef Machiels is a Belgian racing driver born on July 25, 2005, and hails from Hasselt, Belgium. The son of successful racer Louis Machiels, Jef began karting at the age of ten, quickly demonstrating talent and developing his racecraft at circuits in the Benelux region and France.
Machiels made his single-seater debut in the UAE F4 Championship before joining Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR) and Monlau Motorsport for the 2022 Spanish F4 Championship. He prepared for the Spanish series by competing in the UAE F4 Championship, gaining valuable experience with the new generation Tatuus F4 car.
In 2024, Machiels participated in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance - Bronze Cup. He has 6 podiums in 69 races started.
