Jack Anthony Han-Aitken (born September 23, 1995), also known as Han Se-yong, is a British-South Korean racing driver making his mark in the world of motorsport. Born and raised in London, Aitken's racing journey began at the young age of seven in competitive karting. His career has seen him compete in various racing series, including Formula Renault, GP3 Series, Formula 2, and even a brief stint in Formula 1.
Aitken's breakthrough came in 2015 when he secured titles in the Formula Renault Eurocup and Formula Renault Alps Championships, along with the Pro Mazda Winterfest crown. This success paved the way for him to join the Renault Sport Academy in 2016. He showcased his talent in the GP3 Series, finishing as vice-champion in 2017. Progressing to Formula 2, he continued to hone his skills, leading to a role as Williams F1's reserve driver from 2020 to 2022. In 2020, Aitken made his Formula 1 debut at the Sakhir Grand Prix, substituting for George Russell.
Currently, Aitken is actively involved in sports car racing, competing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship with Cadillac Whelen and in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) with Emil Frey. He is fully focused on his sportscar career since cutting ties with Williams and Formula 1 in 2023. In addition to his racing commitments, he also works as a commentator.
