Igor Walilko is a Polish racing driver born on September 12, 1997, in Sulęcin, Poland. He began his motorsport journey at a young age, initially participating in motocross and supermoto from the age of four. Walilko transitioned to karting and quickly demonstrated his talent. In his first karting competition, he secured two podium finishes.
Walilko's early karting career included racing in the Polish Karting Championships, where he finished fourth overall in his debut season. His achievements led to opportunities in international karting, including competing in the Belgian Karting Championship, where he finished third in the KF5 class in 2009, notably racing against Max Verstappen. He also achieved first place in the Polish Karting Cup in the Rok Junior class. Further successes in karting saw him join the KSB Racing Team with support from Birel Motorsport and compete in the World Karting Championships (WSK) and German Karting Championships (DJKM). In 2012, he joined Lewis Hamilton's karting team and won the Italian series Trofeo Delle Industrie.
Transitioning to single-seater racing, Walilko debuted in the Formula ADAC Masters in 2014, achieving two podiums and finishing in the top five overall. In 2015, he participated in the Euroformula Open, securing multiple podium finishes. He also participated in the 24H Dubai Endurance Race in 2017 with the Olimp Racing by Lukas Motorsport team.
