Florian Spengler is a German racing driver with a diverse background in motorsport. Born on January 13, 1988, Spengler's journey began in karting as a hobby, later transitioning to Motocross. Despite enjoying Motocross, he faced several injuries, prompting a switch to car racing. In 2007, he participated in the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup scholarship course, marking his entry into the world of touring cars.
Spengler's career progressed through ADAC Procar, where he secured three race wins and a third-place overall finish in 2010. The following year, he stepped up to the ADAC GT Masters, driving various GT cars from manufacturers like BMW-Alpina, McLaren, Lamborghini and Audi. A highlight of his ADAC GT Masters career was a podium finish at Zandvoort in 2017. While not a full-time professional driver, Spengler balances his racing career with his involvement in the family business.
In 2024, Spengler competed in the Fanatec GT Endurance Cup, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 R for Lionspeed GP. His teammates included Bastian Buus and Patrick Kolb. Throughout his career, Florian Spengler has started in 224 races, achieving 6 wins and 21 podium finishes.
