Enrico Toccacelo, born on December 14, 1978, in Rome, Italy, is an Italian former racing driver with a diverse background in karting, GT racing, and Formula 3000. Toccacelo's career highlights include winning three Formula 3000 events. In 2004, he led the F3000 championship for a time before ultimately finishing as runner-up to Vitantonio Liuzzi.
Unable to secure a Formula One seat after his successful F3000 campaign, Toccacelo participated in the World Series by Renault in 2005. Later that year, he gained Formula One experience as a third driver for Minardi, taking part in Friday practice sessions at the Turkish, Italian, and Belgian Grand Prix.
Beyond F3000 and Formula One, Toccacelo also competed in the inaugural season of A1 Grand Prix with A1 Team Italy. He made a guest appearance for A1 Team Pakistan at the Durban round in South Africa. In the second A1 Grand Prix season, he returned to A1 Team Italy and won the Feature race in Beijing. He also raced in Superleague Formula, driving for A.S. Roma and Borussia Dortmund. More recently, Toccacelo has been involved in the International GT Open series, demonstrating his versatility across different racing disciplines.
