Christopher Dyson, born on February 24, 1978, is an accomplished American professional racing driver with a career spanning multiple racing series. As the son of Rob Dyson, the owner of Dyson Racing, Chris has deep roots in the sport and currently serves as the Vice President and Sporting Director of the team.
Dyson's racing journey includes impressive achievements in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS), where he competed from 2002 to 2013. He secured two ALMS championships, first in 2003 in the LMP675 class and later in 2011 in the LMP1 class. Beyond ALMS, Dyson has showcased his versatility by participating in the Grand American Road Racing Championship, the Rolex Sports Car Series, and the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. His early career also included stints in the Skip Barber Formula Dodge championship and the Atlantic Championship.
More recently, Dyson has found success in the Trans-Am Series, competing in the TA class under the CD Racing banner. He clinched three consecutive TA championships from 2021 to 2023. In August 2019, Dyson briefly ventured into NASCAR, driving for DGM Racing in the Xfinity Series race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, and returning in 2022 for Emerling-Gase Motorsports at Road America.
