Christian Vietoris is a German racing driver born on April 1, 1989, in Gerolstein. He began his motorsport career in karting, showcasing his talent from 2000 to 2004. This success led him to Formula BMW in 2005, where he became the German champion in 2006 with an impressive nine victories. In 2007, he briefly participated in the A1GP series before entering the German Formula 3 Cup, finishing fifth overall in his debut season.
Vietoris continued to climb the motorsport ladder, competing in the Formula 3 Euro Series in 2008 and 2009, where he finished sixth and second respectively, only beaten by Jules Bianchi in the latter year. In 2010 and 2011, he participated in the GP2 series, finishing tenth in the GP2 Asia series and ninth and seventh in the main series, respectively. Simultaneously, he debuted in the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) in 2011 with Persson Motorsport, driving an AMG Mercedes C-Class.
His breakthrough in DTM came in 2013 when he secured four podium finishes and fourth place in the drivers' standings. He followed this up in 2014 with his first DTM race win. Vietoris continued racing in DTM until 2016, driving for Mercedes. In 2018, he returned to HWA as a test and reserve driver and participated in two Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup races.
