Carlos Fonseca is a Costa Rican racing driver with a career spanning various racing disciplines. Born on November 14, 1982, Fonseca has made his mark in both karting and open-wheel racing. In 2012, he showcased his talent in the Formula Abarth class of Panam GP, representing Team Costa Rica, where he finished ninth overall. His best result was fourth place at Ibarra. He shared the track with teammates Veronica Valverde and Andre Solano. Fonseca also participated in the Costa Rican Touring Car Championship (CRTCC) in 2016, competing against former teammates.
Fonseca's achievements in karting have also earned him recognition. He has secured 8 wins, 13 podiums, and 5 pole positions out of 33 races entered. His success and experience led to his induction into the Costa Rican Hall of Sports, a testament to his piloting techniques and achievements. Currently, Carlos Fonseca is also a technical trainer at Formula Kart Costa Rica.
