Antonio Maria Giovinazzi, born on December 14, 1993, is an Italian racing driver currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Ferrari. Giovinazzi's career began in karting at a young age, where he secured several national and international titles. He transitioned to single-seater racing in 2012, winning the Formula Pilota China championship in his debut season. Progressing through various series, he finished as runner-up in the 2016 GP2 Series.
Giovinazzi entered Formula 1 in 2017, making his debut with Sauber as a replacement for the injured Pascal Wehrlein. After serving as a reserve driver, he secured a full-time seat with Alfa Romeo Racing from 2019 to 2021. During his time in Formula 1, he achieved a career-best finish of fifth place at the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix.
In 2023, Giovinazzi achieved a significant milestone by winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Ferrari. Continuing in endurance racing, he remains a key driver for Ferrari AF Corse in the FIA WEC, partnering with Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado.
