Andrew Aquilante, born on June 16, 1987, is an accomplished American racing driver hailing from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Currently residing in Chester Springs, PA, Aquilante's racing journey began at the young age of eight, spending his weekends competing in quarter midgets. His career in the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) took off in 2004, marking the start of a successful trajectory in motorsports.
Aquilante's achievements in the SCCA National Championship Runoffs are noteworthy, as he has secured 14 national championships, placing him third on the all-time list behind racing legends Jerry Hansen and John Heinricy as of 2023. His victories span across two classes: Grand Touring 2 (GT2) and Touring 1 (T1). Beyond his championship titles, Aquilante has also demonstrated his speed and consistency by achieving 20 pole positions in the SCCA Runoffs, which puts him second on the all-time list.
