Alexander Davison, born on November 3, 1979, is an accomplished Australian racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing disciplines. Hailing from Melbourne, Victoria, Davison's journey in motorsport began in karts before progressing to Formula Ford in 1998. He quickly made a name for himself, finishing third in the highly competitive 1999 Australian Formula Ford season.
Davison's career then took him to Europe, where he raced in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and the Porsche Supercup, a support series for Formula 1. Back in Australia, he clinched the 2004 Porsche Carrera Cup Australia championship. His experience extends to the Supercars Championship, where he has participated in numerous races, including co-driving in endurance events. He has secured several top-ten finishes at the prestigious Bathurst 1000.
Beyond Supercars, Davison has continued to race in Porsche events around the world and has two starts at the Le Mans 24 Hour race in GT machinery. Teaming up with his younger brother Will Davison, he has shared the #17 Supercars entry, showcasing the family's deep involvement in Australian motorsport.
