Scott Mansell

Scott Mansell is a British former racing driver born on October 1, 1985. Mansell's career began early, fueled by his father's involvement in motorsport. Starting with a go-kart built by his father, he quickly developed his skills, transitioning to racing cars at 16. By 17, he had acquired a sponsor who recognized his talent and facilitated a move into the European BOSS GP Series, racing Formula 1 cars. In 2004, he won the EuroBOSS championship and was nominated for the McLaren Autosport BRDC Award. During that year, he also set lap records at several notable tracks, including Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Donington Park, Lausitzring and Zolder.

After several years of racing, coaching, and testing cars internationally, Mansell founded Driver61 in June 2015. This platform provides in-depth training videos, circuit guides, and practical training programs aimed at helping aspiring racing drivers improve their skills. The Driver61 YouTube channel has gained significant popularity, offering educational content on Formula 1 and autosport. In July 2021, he co-founded OVERDRIVE (formerly Driven Media), a YouTube channel focused on car experiments and engineering. Mansell's passion for motorsport extends to sim racing, where he has trained numerous drivers.
