Zac STICHBURY

Zac Stichbury is a rising star in the New Zealand motorsport scene. Born on September 19, 2001, the 23-year-old driver's career has been rapidly gaining momentum. Stichbury's journey in motorsport began in karting, where he honed his skills before transitioning to Formula Ford. In 2019, he showcased his talent in the New Zealand Formula 1600 Championship, finishing fourth overall.

Stichbury's career received a significant boost when he was selected as a Team Porsche New Zealand scholarship recipient. In 2023, he competed in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Australia, driving a Porsche 991.2 GT3 Cup car with a distinctive Whittaker's Chocolate "Peanut Slab" themed livery, a nod to his late father Ashley Stichbury's racing history with the brand. He is currently competing in the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia series with Team Porsche New Zealand. He kicked off his Carrera Cup career at the Shanghai Grand Prix in April.

Continuing his development within the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid, Stichbury is focused on building his experience and achieving success in the competitive Carrera Cup Asia. He is following in the footsteps of his father, Ashley Stichbury, a successful racer himself, who won the New Zealand Formula Ford Championship twice and competed in V8 Supercars. With a strong team behind him and a clear drive to succeed, Zac Stichbury is definitely one to watch in the coming years.
