Mark Cotterell

Mark Cotterell is an Australian racing driver who competes in the Monochrome GT4 Australia series. In 2024, he partnered with rising star Jarrod Hughes in a Ginetta G55 GT4, achieving two podium finishes at Phillip Island and securing a front-row start at Queensland Raceway. However, their season was hampered by mechanical issues, including a component failure at Queensland Raceway. Cotterell also sponsors the Silver Cup winners of the three-hour endurance event in the series through his company, Mark Cotterell Master Jeweller.

For the 2025 season opener at Phillip Island, Cotterell is teaming up with Chris Whittaker in his Ginetta G55 GT4, competing in the Am Cup. Whittaker, a regular in the Queensland Production Sports Championship, has previously driven Cotterell's Ginetta. While currently committed only to the first race, Cotterell remains open to completing the entire season. He has been working on improving his driving technique, drawing on his experience with Jarrod Hughes at Norwell. Cotterell's FIA Driver Categorisation is Bronze.
