Katharine Impey

Katharine Impey is a British racing driver with a career spanning over a decade, primarily competing in Formula racing. Impey's journey began as part of a schools motorsport project, leading her to establish her own team, IMPKAT Racing. Since 2004, she has been a familiar face in the Formula Jedi series in the UK, showcasing consistent pace and skill. In 2006, she secured two race wins in the Formula Jedi 600cc class, marking significant milestones in her early career.

Impey's racing endeavors extend beyond Formula Jedi. In 2008, she achieved a double victory in the Monoposto Club Championship at Cadwell Park, demonstrating her adaptability and talent in both wet and dry conditions. This included setting the Monoposto 1200cc lap record at Cadwell Park. In 2009, she claimed two lap records in successive rounds of the Track & Race Car sponsored Monoposto Championships at Mallory Park and Donington Park. In 2011, Impey participated in the MSV F3 Cup, earning a third-place finish at Spa and consistently finishing within the top ten. She has also raced in the BRSCC Formula 3 championship.

Beyond racing, Katharine has also worked as a Porsche driving instructor and participated in historic demonstration driving. While she intended to compete in the USF2000 series in 2014, it is unclear whether this materialized. With experience in karting and single-seater racing, Katharine Impey continues to be involved in motorsport, showcasing her passion and expertise.
