Juan Montoya

Juan Pablo Montoya, born on September 20, 1975, is a Colombian racing icon with a diverse and successful career spanning Formula 1, IndyCar, and NASCAR. Montoya's early passion for speed led him through karting and various racing series in Colombia and Mexico before making his mark on the international stage.

In 1999, Montoya burst onto the CART scene, winning the championship as a rookie with Chip Ganassi Racing. He followed this with a victory at the Indianapolis 500 in 2000, demonstrating his versatility and skill on different tracks. From 2001 to 2006, Montoya competed in Formula 1, driving for Williams and McLaren, securing seven Grand Prix wins and multiple podium finishes. His aggressive driving style and willingness to challenge established stars made him a fan favorite.

After Formula 1, Montoya transitioned to NASCAR, where he raced from 2006 to 2014, earning victories at the Telcel-Motorola Mexico 200 and the Toyota/Save Mart 350.
