Christoffer Nygaard

Christoffer Nygaard, born on March 24, 1986, in Gentofte, Denmark, is a seasoned racing driver with a diverse background spanning karting, touring cars, and GT racing. Nygaard began his motorsport journey in karting in 2001, achieving a notable 3rd place in the Nordic Formula A Championship in 2004. Transitioning to cars, he entered the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup in 2005 before moving to the SEAT Leon Supercopa Germany, where he secured 3rd place in 2008.

In 2009, Nygaard shifted his focus to GT racing, competing in the ADAC GT Masters and FIA GT3 European Championship with a Ford GT GT3. This marked the beginning of his career in international GT racing. He continued in FIA GT3 and made his debut in the FIA GT1 World Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2010. Since 2012, Nygaard has been a prominent figure in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), racing for Aston Martin Racing and showcasing his talent in endurance racing.

Beyond racing, Nygaard shares his expertise as an instructor at Power Racing Gokart Academy in Herlev, Denmark, where he coaches both novice and advanced karting drivers. He also serves as the official test driver for Koenigsegg, contributing to the development of hypercars like the One:1. His experience, ranging from nurturing young talent to pushing the limits of high-performance vehicles, reflects his deep commitment to motorsport.
