Masato Mitsuhashi

Masato Mitsuhashi is a Japanese racing driver who has participated in the Super Taikyu Series. In the 2023 season, he drove the #5 Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK7) for AI' Racing. He partnered with Kazuhiro Sakai and Shion Tsujimoto. During the Super Taikyu Race in Autopolis in July 2023, Mitsuhashi went off course during the second hour of the race, but the team recovered to finish 24th overall.

Beyond his racing endeavors, Masato Mitsuhashi has a distinguished career in the medical and scientific field. He holds an M.D. and Ph.D. from Gunma University, Japan. He began his career as a pediatrician specializing in allergy and immunology. He later transitioned into molecular technologies, working at the University of California, San Francisco, and then at Hitachi Chemical Research Center, where he eventually became CSO. He also served as president/CEO for two spin-off companies of Hitachi. Currently, Mitsuhashi is the Chief Technology Officer at NanoSomiX, a company focused on developing blood tests for early detection of diseases.
