Racerfører Daniel Harper

Daniel Harper, born on December 8, 2000, in Anahilt, Northern Ireland, is a rising star in the world of motorsport. The 24-year-old currently competes as a BMW Motorsport works driver, marking a significant milestone in his career. Harper's journey began at the tender age of six, initially in quad bikes and karting, where he quickly established himself as a multiple champion. Transitioning to junior rallying in 2015, he showcased his versatility by winning three events in the Ireland Junior 1000 Rally Challenge.

Harper's move to circuit racing in 2016 proved pivotal. Securing a Ginetta Junior Scholarship, he dominated the Ginetta Junior Championship, claiming two race victories and the Rookie Cup title. His talent further blossomed in the Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain, where he was crowned champion in 2019 after securing eight wins, six pole positions, and eleven fastest laps. Since 2020, Harper has been a part of the BMW Motorsport program, initially as a Junior Team member and later graduating to a full works driver in 2023.

His accomplishments with BMW include winning the 2023 British GT Championship with Century Motorsport and the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup in the Bronze class. Harper has also demonstrated his prowess in endurance racing, securing a podium finish in the 2024 ADAC TOTAL 24 Hours of Nürburgring. In 2025, he achieved his inaugural 24-hour race victory in the Dubai 24 Hour with Al Manar Racing by Team WRT. Currently, Harper is competing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship with Paul Miller Racing, marking his debut in American racing.
