Andre Heimgartner, born on June 8, 1995, is a New Zealand motor racing driver making his mark in the Repco Supercars Championship. Currently driving the No. 8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Brad Jones Racing, Heimgartner's journey to the top has been one of consistent effort and determination. Starting his racing career at a young age, he quickly gained recognition by becoming the youngest driver to win a Formula Ford Championship in New Zealand during the 2010-2011 season. He successfully defended his title the following year, showcasing his talent and potential.

Heimgartner's transition to Supercars saw him join Super Black Racing in 2015, marking his official arrival in the series. After a challenging debut season, he moved to Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport in 2016. He then demonstrated his versatility by switching to the Porsche Carrera Cup in 2017, where he achieved multiple wins and podiums. A co-drive with Tim Slade at Brad Jones Racing in the same year further solidified his reputation.

In 2022, Heimgartner was recruited by Brad Jones Racing, where he delivered strong performances, including multiple podium finishes and a 10th place finish in the championship. His impressive form continued into 2023, culminating in a personal-best seventh-place finish in the Driver's Championship.
