Carlo Van Dam

Carlo van Dam, born on February 27, 1986, is a Dutch racing driver with a career spanning various racing disciplines. From Vlaardingen, Netherlands, Van Dam began his motorsport journey at the age of eight, quickly becoming a top karting talent, winning the 2001 European Championship. His early success led to his inclusion in the Renault Driver Development program, paving the way for a career in single-seaters.

Van Dam transitioned to Formula Renault in 2004, competing in the Dutch series and showcasing his potential with multiple pole positions and fastest laps. He further honed his skills in the Eurocup Formula Renault before moving to Formula Three. In 2007, he dominated the German Formula 3 Cup, securing the championship with races to spare. The following year, he conquered the All-Japan Formula Three series, establishing himself as a formidable force.

Facing sponsorship challenges in progressing towards Formula 1, Van Dam shifted his focus to GT and endurance racing. Since 2008, he has been a prominent figure in Asian motorsport, competing in Super GT for Honda and other notable teams. Currently, Van Dam is a factory driver for Subaru, participating in the Super GT Series, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, and the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Besides racing, Carlo founded CVD Sports Management Limited in 2013, providing coaching, management, and consulting services to drivers, teams, and motorsport-related companies.
