Nicky Hays

Nicholas "Nicky" Hays, born on September 24, 2001, is an American racing driver hailing from Huntington Beach, California. Currently 23 years old, Hays began his motorsport journey at a young age, showcasing his talent early in karting. His career highlights include competing in the 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup North America with Wright Motorsports.

Hays's transition to single-seater racing began in 2018 in the F1600 Championship Series. In 2019, he gained international experience in the French F4 Championship, securing a race win at Circuit de Lédenon and finishing third overall. He also participated in selected rounds of the Formula 4 United States Championship, achieving two podiums. In 2020, he competed in the FR Americas Championship, achieving multiple podiums. In 2021, Hays joined the HPD GT3 Academy with Racers Edge Motorsports, gaining experience in GT3 machinery. In 2022, Hays contested the USF2000 Championship with Cape Motorsports, earning two second-place finishes in the season finale at Portland. He also tested an Indy Lights car with Abel Motorsports in 2022.
