Marius Nakken

Marius Nakken, born on December 1, 1993, is a Norwegian racing driver currently competing in the GT World Challenge in the Porsche GT3 R. Nakken's motorsport journey began early; he received his first go-kart at the age of four and spent countless hours honing his skills at a track near his home in Ålesund. He entered his first race in 2001, quickly establishing himself as a frontrunner in the Formula Cadetti class.

Nakken's career boasts numerous successes both in Norway and internationally. He dominated karting championships throughout his early years and made his international debut in 2007 at the Ica Jr. class in Trofeo di Primacera, Italy. In 2008, he won the Norwegian Cup, secured second place in the Norwegian Championship, and finished tenth in the European Championship. In 2010, Nakken transitioned to circuit racing in the Seven Racing class, where he immediately became a top contender, winning both the Scandinavian and Norwegian championships in his first year. Continuing his ascent, he dominated the Norwegian Thunder Car Championship (NTCC) starting in 2012, winning the championship every year and earning the U21 Champion title in 2014.

Nakken's Porsche career began in 2017 with the Dubai 24 H race and continued in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. In 2018, he achieved a podium finish in the Porsche Cup car at Sachsenring. He also participated in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. Throughout his career, Nakken has achieved approximately 190 podium finishes, with about half of them being first-place victories. In 2022, he ventured into endurance racing in the GT World Challenge, driving the Porsche GT3 R.
