Maceo Capietto

Macéo Capietto, born on January 12, 2006, is a French racing driver making waves in the world of motorsport. Hailing from Montereau-Fault-Yonne and residing in Veneux-les-Sablons, Île-de-France, Capietto's passion for racing was ignited early, following in the footsteps of his father, Guillaume Capietto, a former karting driver and current Prema Racing team manager.

Capietto's career began in karting, where he quickly demonstrated his talent. After three seasons in Minikart, he became the regional Île-de-France champion and transitioned to the international stage in 2018, receiving guidance from Anthoine Hubert. In 2019, he finished as runner-up in the French Junior Karting Championship and secured a podium finish in the WSK Euro Series in 2020. Transitioning to single-seaters in 2021, Capietto joined the French F4 Championship and secured his first victory in his fourth race at Magny-Cours. He finished third overall in the championship that year. In 2024, Capietto stepped up to the European Le Mans Series, joining Iron Lynx-Proton in the LMP2 class.

Racing alongside Matteo Cairoli and Jonas Ried, Capietto secured his first ELMS victory at the 4 Hours of Mugello. As a Silver-rated driver, he faces the challenge of competing against teams with only one Silver driver, but remains focused on improving his race pace and contributing to the team's success. With his sights set on a future in Hypercar, Capietto is dedicated to gaining experience and making a name for himself in the world of endurance racing.
