Lars Viljoen

Lars Viljoen is a British racing driver with experience in various racing disciplines, including GT racing. Born on May 18, 1985, Viljoen began his racing career in karts, competing in the British National Championship before transitioning to car racing at 17. He quickly made an impact, winning the BRDC Formula Ford Winter Series at Silverstone. In 2005, he entered the Formula BMW UK Championship, achieving impressive results as a rookie at the national level.

Viljoen has competed in GT races around the world, with the aim of establishing himself as a proven winner in iconic motorsport events. In 2016, he participated in the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona in an Aston Martin Vantage GT3, showcasing great speed and even racing up to second in class during his debut. This performance led to his first drive in the Pirelli World Challenge, where he secured the first-ever pole position in the Sprint X class at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, driving an Aston Martin GT3. He also participated in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2016, driving a LMGTE Am car.

Beyond racing, Viljoen is described as having a warm and outgoing personality. His personal motto, "Conceive It, Believe It, Achieve It," reflects his dedication to his goals. He has also worked as a test driver for Hitech Racing and Litespeed British F3 teams, and as a medical car driver for A1GP World Cup of Motorsport.
