Janine Shoffner

Janine Shoffner is a British-born American racing driver who began her motorsport journey later in life, after a career as a professional sports skydiver, trainer, and free-fall photographer. Now residing in the USA, she focuses on Endurance GT car racing, primarily at the Nürburgring and throughout Europe. Janine is part of J2-Racing, a team she co-founded with her husband, John Shoffner, in 2012. She has achieved multiple class wins and podium finishes in both the Carrera Cup and GT3 classes.

Janine's racing career gained momentum in the 2010s. In 2013, a visit to the Nürburgring led to her meeting Sabine Schmitz, who provided valuable instruction on the track. This connection brought Janine and John into Sabine's Frikadelli racing team. In 2021, she secured the FIA Am GT3 class of the VLN championship while driving a Mercedes. Beyond racing, Janine also owns several horses and competes at the amateur level in Eventing and Jumpers.

Janine's diverse background extends beyond motorsports and skydiving; she also has a passion for horses. She owns several Jumpers, Dressage, and Event horses, partnering with professional riders. She has competed in eventing up to the 2* level. Her husband, John, fulfilled his dream of becoming an astronaut in 2021 through Axiom Space's NASA-level training program.
