Ho-Pin Tung, born on December 4, 1982, is a Dutch-born racing driver who competes under a Chinese license. Tung's career began with karting in the Netherlands at the age of 14. He quickly progressed to single-seaters, achieving early success by winning the 2003 Formula BMW Asia series. This victory earned him a test drive with the Williams Formula 1 team, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Tung continued to climb the racing ladder, securing the German Formula 3 Cup title in 2006. He also gained experience in various series, including A1 Grand Prix and GP2, where he consistently demonstrated his talent with podium finishes. In 2010, he made history as the first Chinese-licensed driver to test an IndyCar, and in 2011, he debuted in the IndyCar Series. Beyond open-wheel racing, Tung has excelled in endurance racing. Notably, he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2017 with Jackie Chan DC Racing, becoming the first Chinese driver to achieve this feat. He has also competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship, securing multiple wins and a second-place finish in the LMP2 rankings.

Currently, Tung continues to race and is also involved with Jaguar Racing as a test and development driver in the Formula E championship. Off the track, Tung has also pursued academic and professional endeavors, including an Executive MBA program in Hong Kong and a position as Director, Head of Private Office at Knight Frank in Hong Kong.
